CUSTOMER INFORMATION
Terms & Conditions
These terms explain the general conditions that apply when Cherry Hill Christmas Lights provides seasonal, permanent, residential or commercial lighting services.
Last updated: August 22, 2026
Important: Your written estimate, proposal, invoice or signed agreement may contain project-specific terms that supplement or modify these general terms. If there is a conflict, the project-specific written agreement controls.
1. Estimates, Scheduling & Scope of Work
Pricing is based on the scope shown in the written estimate or proposal. Changes requested after approval, hidden site conditions, access limitations, electrical limitations, structural conditions or additional materials may change the final price. Installation dates are estimates and may shift because of weather, safety concerns, material availability, property access or other conditions outside our reasonable control.
2. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the property and for identifying known hazards, sensitive areas, private utilities, irrigation components, pets, locked gates and other conditions that may affect the work. Customers should keep vehicles, decorations and personal property clear of work areas when requested.
3. Seasonal Christmas Light Installation
Seasonal lighting packages may include design, installation, in-season service, removal and storage only when those items are included in the written proposal. Final placement may be adjusted in the field for safety, attachment points, roof conditions, electrical access and the best finished appearance.
4. Permanent Lighting Systems
Permanent lighting installations are custom-fitted to the property. Track placement, controller locations, power-supply locations and wiring routes are determined based on the structure, electrical access, appearance and safe installation practices. App features, third-party platforms, Wi-Fi performance and mobile-device compatibility can change over time and may depend on equipment or services not controlled by Cherry Hill Christmas Lights.
5. Govee & Customer-Supplied Products
Cherry Hill Christmas Lights does not install customer-supplied Govee permanent-light systems. References to Govee on our website are provided for product comparison and customer education. Govee is a separate company and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Cherry Hill Christmas Lights.
6. Electrical Service & Property Conditions
Lighting systems require suitable electrical service. Existing outlets, GFCI devices, circuits, timers, Wi-Fi networks and other property systems are outside our control unless specifically included in the proposal. We are not responsible for failures caused by pre-existing electrical problems, overloaded circuits, utility interruptions, unauthorized modifications, pests, landscaping, construction work, severe weather or damage caused by others.
7. Maintenance & Service Calls
For services that include in-season maintenance or warranty support, customers should notify us promptly when an issue is noticed. Service timing may vary during peak season and severe weather. Warranty coverage, exclusions and service procedures for permanent lighting are governed by the written warranty provided with the applicable system.
8. 15-Year Permanent Lighting Warranty
Where expressly included with the purchased permanent-lighting system, Cherry Hill Christmas Lights provides a 15-year limited warranty subject to the written warranty terms supplied for that installation. The warranty does not cover every type of damage or circumstance, and it does not replace the project-specific written warranty.
9. Removal, Storage & Reinstallation
Seasonal removal and storage are included only when stated in the proposal. Removal dates are scheduled by route, weather and seasonal workload. If a customer alters, removes, relocates or allows another contractor to alter installed materials, additional service charges may apply.
10. Payment
Deposits, progress payments, balances, accepted payment methods and due dates are stated in the estimate, invoice or agreement. Past-due balances may delay installation, maintenance, removal, storage release or future scheduling to the extent permitted by law.
11. Cancellations & Changes
Because lighting projects require scheduling, custom materials and labor allocation, cancellation or rescheduling terms may vary by project. Any applicable deposit treatment, cancellation charge or change-order pricing will be governed by the written estimate or agreement and applicable law.
12. Photos & Project Documentation
We may photograph completed installations for quality-control, documentation and portfolio purposes, while taking reasonable care not to disclose private customer information. If you do not want your property used in marketing materials, please tell us in writing before installation.
13. Safety
For everyone’s safety, customers and bystanders should remain clear of ladders, lifts, roof access areas, tools and active work zones. We may pause or reschedule work when weather, roof conditions, electrical conditions or other circumstances make the work unsafe.
14. Limitation to the Agreed Work
Our responsibility is limited to the lighting work and related services described in the written agreement, subject to applicable law. We do not assume responsibility for unrelated property defects or systems that are not part of our contracted scope.
15. Website Information
Website information, comparisons, photographs and examples are provided for general educational and marketing purposes. Product features, pricing, availability, technology and specifications may change. A written proposal is required for project-specific pricing and scope.
